Eagle Scout Jim Lovell
11 of the ten men who walked on the moon had been a scout at some point in their life . Jim Lovell was the camandor of the Apallo 13. He did not make it to the moon as his ship had an explosion, they almost did not make it to earth. It was with team work from everyone that the 3 men made it back to earth. With everyone working towards a goal big things happen.

Yes I believe you are 100% correct. One thing I have noticed from scouting is that it exposes the scouts to many diferent jobs. Scouts also have none to little fear of going after of going after these jobs. I could go on and on, but we all know how scouting helps develope our scouts in to good young adults and many of them into great leaders.
