I have recently gotten my training as a volunteer journalist. And my training to be a resistar. Which will mean that I will be responsible for all the Girl Scouts in our district papers.
Our son JAMES just joined BOY SCOUTS last Monday. He is so happy. Sorry I forgot to get any pictures. I will have some later for him. I did have sticker shock on the cost of uniform top. He will be wearing the BLUE CUB shirt. He is a TIGER CUB.
Our troop has only met once this month. One of our Cadettes 7th Graders taught a meeting on disability awareness. The girls took the class well.
Next week we will be having our bridging ceremony. Our year will officially end.
Starting in June I will become the new troop leader.
Our town has cancelled the Memorial day parade. due to the road construction for a a new bridge. It is just to dangerous. James is disappointmented that eh can't march.
Our troop will be going to the next town over. We will each be bringing a flower to put on the large wreath. To be placed in the cemetary.
My oldest Lizzie and another Cadette Amanda is leaving for Program Aide camp. this is so that the girls will be trained to help in various Girl scout programs to help adults. One day both girls will be a councilor in training. And then councelor.
The girls leave for the weekend. They will be back at Sunday at noon. They are going to a new camp. So they will be letting the rest of us know if the camp is one they are interested in or not.
