two special events for the girls and our bridging ceremony....indian lore

Lizzie *cadette* and Rachel * Daisy* went to two special events the next town over.

The Ravenna Troops had the an event. They had a lady from the dance instructor come and teach the girls. They broke the Daisy and brownies into the first group and then the junior and the cadettes/seniors and ambassadors in the next group. The girls loved the lessons. All the girls earned level badges except daisies they earned fun badges. They put their fun badges on their back. The earn badges are on the front of the front of the badges.

The second event was karate. The girls was broke up into the same levels. This time Lizzie was trained Program Aid. She helped keep the younger girls focused. They taught the girls how to get away from a abductor. which Rachel loved. When the stranger *large man* Rachel freaked out she ran away. She went to hide behind sister. She loved everything else. This was a lot of fun. She earned her red petal for the Daisy flower. Courageous and Strong. Lizzie earned earned her patch as well.

I planned a zoo trip for the troop for August 14th.

May 21st, Our troop had our bridging ceremony. Our girls *bridged* from one level to the next level. The girls had cake. We did learn that you don't allow a daisy to wear her dark blue vest and play with chalk. . It is covered.

May 22nd. Four of our girls and our head leader. We have a Hopwell Indian Princess indian mound in the woods near our church. It was rainy so most of the troop didn't show up. The girls had a special speaker come out to speak about indian lore.

Thank you Kasia,
I have been too sick to read many posts from other troops so hopefully soon I will be able to read. The girls do have fun at their events.

Thank You Christina that you always share with us your news, it's really nice to see how other scouts work in different countries, and thanks to you we can get to know more about every day activities in your troop from USA. All your activities are really interesting :)
