Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts

This was my first year as a Tiger Scout leader, 1st graders. The boys and I had a lot of fun. We caroled at a local retirement home. They all earned their Bobcats and Tiger ranks. It was hard to get used to dealing with boys. But I do have to say they was calmer then my girl scout troop. We did a Pinewood Derby Race, visited a local pumpkin farm, hiked, geocasing. Next year I will be the Wolf co-Leader. The boys donated clothes to the local Goodwill.

The Girl Scouts worked on their year of service project. They donated clothing to a local women's shelter, Goodwill. Food to a food bank, electronics to a veteran rehab home. They are donating coloring books to Ronald McDonald's house, went caroling. They also visited a Rehabilation center with horses.

We are looking at parades and doing next year summer, winter schedules.
