BP did great things for world peace. His contribution will last beyond his dreams of helping other people and living by the Scout Law. All politicians around the world should say the scout promise and law when they first take office and live by that promise. We would have no wars, no intolerance, no discrimination and we would have one world, one handshake, generosity and peace.- Andrew Champion- Justice of the Peace.

Today, May 31, 2010. We honored our soldiers. Normally our girl scouts would lead the scouts. Due to having the flag and then the boy scouts would follow. This year Kent has cancelled the parade. The Ravenna Girl Scouts contacted us and allowed us to join them due to us having some girls from Ravenna. So that was very nice of them

The Ravenna Troops had the an event. They had a lady from the dance instructor come and teach the girls. They broke the Daisy and brownies into the first group and then the junior and the cadettes/seniors and ambassadors in the next group. The girls loved the lessons. All the girls earned level badges except daisies they earned fun badges. They put their fun badges on their back. The ear

Good leaders make people feel that they're at the very
heart of things, not at the periphery. Everyone feels that he or she makes a
difference to the success of the organization. When that happens, people feel
centered and that gives their work
meaning.

scouts would often try to achieve the rank of an eagle scout because of
the prestige that they think that comes with the rank. others would try
to launder their achievements that they accomplished while gaining the
rank.
Frankly speaking when you have reached the top and perched
above the rank system you will suddenly realize that no matter how high
you climb you will discover the great blue sky, you will be HUMBLED at
this revelation that in the end you have the wings to fly and explor…

This was an interesting meeting.....
We had all the girls come in uniform. We had to make sure that everyone was in the correct order for badges. Their earned badges turned out for many was in the wrong spots and the Fun patches which are event patches for trips was on the front. Which are both big no nos. And then turned out that the girls had wrong level badges on their uniforms. Each level has their own badge. So the girls spent over half of their meeting redoing their badge
