Calling All Scouts,

Zach Porier is working on his Eagle Scout project and is writing a book entitled, "C" is for Community: an anthology of writings from scouts ages 12-18 that have had to cope with friends and loved ones diagnosed with cancer.

The book is intended to help other youth know that there's support for them and that they are not alone in having to deal with often deadly disease.

Christina_T Girl Scout troop 1306

They have finished most of their scout year. The Cadettes lead the last meeting. They planned the entire meeting. From the beginning to the end. It was hard to get used to dealing with boys. But I do have to say they was calmer then my girl scout troop. We did a Pinewood Derby Race, visited a local pumpkin farm, hiked, geocasing. Next year I will be the Wolf co-Leader. The boys donated clothes to the local Goodwill.

The Girl Scouts worked on…
