During Fairtrade fortnight we had a fairtrade fair in our local town, stall holders both fairtrade and ethical  were able to advertise and sell their products.I arranged for a speaker who was touring Uk during the fortnight he was from Palestine and a director of Zaytoun company he was called Taysir, and he was accompanied by a olive farmer called Riziq, they gave an interesting talk about how fairtrade was helping their families and communities have a better life , but also the problems…

Once again it is nearly time for  the Womad festival at Charlton park Malmsbury UK , this is a festival run by Peter Gabrial and brings international acts from all around the world plus some of the groups will be cooking food from their countries this year i am looking forward to see the Egyption groupEl Tanbura (Egypt)  that played in Tahir Square during the demonstrations they also will be serving Egyption food in the taste…
