About Me:: I first joined scouts as a cub in 1968. I assist a lot of organisations with grant applications and fund raising initiatives. I am happy to assist scout Groups, Districts and Regions in any State or Country to raise funds for scout halls, camping equipment, website upgrades and jamboree costs. I am on Facebook, Scoutface, My Space, Skype ( user name Fatstocks) and Linkedin.
Jamboree's attended, 4th Australian Venture, Australian Jamboree Collingwood Park, 6th Fiji Jamboree, World Jamboree Canada 1983. Albury Gang Show cast member.

I attended the Royal Military College at Duntroon and helped form the Corps of Staff Cadets Rover Crew. We had about 23 Rovers, with about 17 or 18 being Queen Scout Awardee's.

I was a Caloundra City Council elected member of council for 20 years, including a period as Deputy mayor. I am a Qualified Justice of the Peace and Surf Life Saver. I want to help Scouting4peace grow and promote Peace across all nations.

I have Wood Badge in Scout and Venturer sections, Queens Scout Award, Rotary Youth Leadership Award, Silver Medallion in Surf Life Saving, Long Service Award including the Silver Arrow.

I founded the Kawana Waters Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including a couple of years as President.

Acting Leader in Charge at Maroochydore Scout Group which has reformed after a 7 year recess. Recently handed over to the new Group Leader.

Since February , we have 40 new youth members and 11 new leaders, Joey, Cubs, Scout and Venturer Sections.

BP did great things for world peace. His contribution will last beyond his dreams of helping other people and living by the Scout Law. Perhaps, if there was a single event which would change my life, this was one of them. I came back to Canada altered and changed for the better and it would also change the events in my life. A couple years later I went to Czech with Scouting and Holland. Still years later I would work with Scouting4peace and Rovers International. Chile dissolved all predjudices that I had before in my life of ALL cultures, relgions and nationalities. It would open the door to my becoming a peace ambassdor for our world. And at closing with 35,000 Scouts from around the world singing John Lennons "imagine" it would be the First time in my entire life that I sensed the Divine Creator. I almost went to Australia once with Outward Bound Australia. The same with Outward Bound Africa. However it never materialized. And I know longer have the money I had at that time. What I have been very very impressed with is the Australian Youth Climate Colalition. The young people who have really made a difference in our entire world.

It has given back my hope in young people. For Scouting has slowly been dying in Canada for 30 years.
