Hello Vicente Palomino,

YES (Youth Education Support) (www.yes.or.ke) is a scout based non-profit organisation that supports youth education through friends. Orphans support is the basic foundation of the organisation with an aim to further encourage their physical, mental, social and spiritual development.

Many orphans in Kenya and Africa have become vulnerable as a result of poverty, hiv/aids and other mysterious killer diseases.

YES is promoting a “Scout Friends Exchange” - an international experience that gives Scouts and non Scouts friends an opportunity for discovery, support services and adventure travels in Kenya.

On successful completion of the exchange, the Scout Friend gets an AWARD showing that s/he is aware of the youth issues (you discover) and has acquired through support services the necessary experience and skills to become a “Scout Friend”.

YES Scouts Friends have an added opportunity to visit the Lord Baden Powell (BP) Memorial Park and the famous 7th. Wonder of the World at Masai Mara National Park in Kenya. Other safaris and tours of interest are organised to make the “Scout Friends Exchange” in Kenya an experience of a life time.

YES works through Scouts Friends and Ambassadors to promote the Scouts Friends Exchange Programme.

I propose you as a “Scout Friends Ambassador” in your area and hope that you’ll contact me so that you can start playing an active role.

Scout Friends Ambassadors are appointed in each country to;
- Create awareness about Scouts Friends Exchange in Kenya
- Reach Out to Scout Friends
- Plan and implement fundraising activities
- Plan and facilitate Scout Friend’s discoveries, support and adventures travels in Kenya
- Coordinate with YES Scouts Director in Kenya
