Hi All (and Tarek!)
I have been asked to inform all Rover Scouts of an International Rover Moot happening in 2011 in Scotland with the Baden-Powell Scouts Association.
I am on the committee of this event. Hoping to get 2000 Rovers to the campsite.
When?
The moot will Provisionally start on Sunday 21st August 2011 and finish on Saturday 27th August 2011. These dates are currently subject to confirmation, but arrangements for arriving early and leaving late… Continue

Nice to contact with an Irish scout. I stayed one year in Dublin a few years ago (more than "a few" actually, it was in 1994-1995!) and during my stay I had the opportunity to spent the saturday mornings wiht the cub scouts of 86th Mount Merrion Scout Group. It was a really nice experience for me, I was a scout leader in Spain on that date and it was important for me to continue with scouting activities during my stay in Dublin. I visited Larch Hill and I love it. I also participated in an opening ceremony of the "course" (sorry I don't remember the right word) and had the opportunity to meet the National Chief and to see many people of many groups attending the ceremony. I have lovely memories.

Don't you know that both the Qrendi Scouts and the Scout Association of Malta are at your disposal and that of the Scout Radio should our services ever be needed.
However we sent the station info ie Article and pictures, on the Qrendi Scout Group being presented with the Excellence in Road Safety Award by the Commissioner of Transport of the European Union some time back.
However nothing else was heard afterwards
