They have finished most of their scout year. The Cadettes lead the last meeting. They planned the entire meeting. From the beginning to the end. They even dealt with the one girl not listening they explained that they was incharge. The girl was like umm and came and checked. And she found out that they was in charge.
The Cadettes are leaving for a Cadette Summit in two weeks. One Cadette is a Delegate for the Summit.
All the Juniors/Cadettes have finished…

They have all earned their Tiger Rank. They have completed all the requirements
to move to Wolf. They have all done electives and they have those beads as well.

This was my first year as a Tiger Scout leader, 1st graders. The boys and I had a lot of fun. We caroled at a local retirement home. They all earned their Bobcats and Tiger ranks. It was hard to get used to dealing with boys. But I do have to say they was calmer then my girl scout troop. We did a Pinewood Derby Race, visited a local pumpkin farm, hiked, geocasing. Next year I will be the Wolf co-Leader. The boys donated clothes to the local Goodwill.
The Girl Scouts worked on…

In July, our troop was given 20 tickets to a baseball game. Akron Aero's which is the Cleveland Indian's farm team. The Akron Aero's play only 30 minutes on a good traffic day from our meeting place. One of our parents signed us up for a chance for tickets. We was lucky enough to be blessed with tickets. I had thought that the former leader had taken care of all the calling of the girls. She informed me that no she was moving. So less then a week before the event I was taking care of that.…

Today, May 31, 2010. We honored our soldiers. Normally our girl scouts would lead the scouts. Due to having the flag and then the boy scouts would follow. This year Kent has cancelled the parade. The city is putting in a new bridge so they have decided that it is too dangerous for the children. This was a week after we had gotten the go ahead.
The Ravenna Girl Scouts contacted us and allowed us to join them due to us having some girls from Ravenna. So that was very nice of…

This was an interesting meeting.....
We had all the girls come in uniform. We had to make sure that everyone was in the correct order for badges. Their earned badges turned out for many was in the wrong spots and the Fun patches which are event patches for trips was on the front. Which are both big no nos. And then turned out that the girls had wrong level badges on their uniforms. Each level has their own badge. So the girls spent over half of their meeting redoing their…
