Shri Ashutosh Kumar is a legal professional; distinguish writer; thinker; Planner and social activist. He is presently working as Assistant Manager (Legal) in Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited; A JV of TATA Power and Government of Delhi.

Born on 19th November, 1978, Shri Ashutosh Kumar has completed his B.SC (Zoology Hons.) from Langat Singh College, B. R. A. Bihar University in 2001. Later on, he received LL.B Degree (2004) from Law Centre-I, University of Delhi and LL.M degree (2007) from Department of Distance Education, Kurushetra University. Apart from “Parliamentary Fellow” of The Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary studies, he has also completed several courses from several universities of India and achieved unique distinction of being alumni of nine Universities/institutions of India. He has secured 2nd rank in PG Diploma in International Humanitarian Law: an international course from NALSAR University of Law as well as received Commonwealth Youth Programme Award from Commonwealth Secretariat, London.
In the year 2003, he was selected as Legal Trainee in North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL) presently known as Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL); He enrolled in Bar in August 2004 and served TPDDL as Advocate/Legal retainer till September 2008. In October 2008, he joined Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited as Senior Executive and presently working as Assistant Manager (Legal).

He is associated as life member/member of more than twenty-five organizations of national/international repute and held responsible and leadership position since childhood. As a distinguish writer, his several articles got published as featured article in national and international Journals as well as uploaded on Tata World-an intra website for Tata employees across globe. He has also received invitations for write-up and lecture on different subjects.

He has also obtained several awards and honours. He was awarded as Rashtrapati Scout Award, Rashtrapati Rover Award and Rajyapuraskar Award of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, “C Certificate” in National Cadet Corps, Adjudged for Best Cadet Award of College NCC unit; “A grade” in National Adventure Program of the National Adventure Institute, Madhya Pradesh and won several (more than 50) debates, Essay and Moot court competitions. His hobby is to read autobiographies, participate in social service, scouting and environmental activities as well as share knowledge through writings on different subjects/issues.
