A Training workshop for the production of plantings, and seedlings

The office of the Environmental Scouts Organization in Lebanon has finished an intensive training workshop for one-day with the participation or thirty person of its members. This was held in the Organization’s plantation Berkayel Akkar about the production of plantings, fruit trees and forest trees using the available techniques found in the organization. This activity comes within the plan of self-sufficiency followed by the organization to secure its needs of the plantings, and seedlings used in reforestation operations undertaken in more than one location.

The workshop included theatrical information about the ways and methods for the production of seedlings and plantings, and practical work on how to prepare the soil for the cultivation and processing.
