Scout Philosophies..

First, i would like to congratulate to our brother for create this group..i think it's necessary for everyone of us to know our movement's history and our philosophies..Nowadays, i think ( in Malaysia ) our boys and girls and forgot about their history and what are the main objectives of scout. They forgot about what is a SCOUT. I think all of us are responsible in teaching and train them to know the real meaning of Scout. First, we should tell them what are the objectives of Scouting? For me personally, scouting is guiding man to the true path, and the only way of true path is by Happiness. Nothing is more important than the happiness. Lord BP in his last will told us that by scouting, we can gain happiness in life and nothing can bring us happiness more other than make others happy as well. That's scout but i think youth today didnt appreciate and realise that. Yeah, scout is for fun but it's more than that and thats a different between scout and soldier. So, its our duty to re-educate them to be a real scout.Thats all what im think..
