"Once a Scout always a Scout" I was told this when I was 11 by a a camp warden at my local Scout camp Site and since then he has retired and is now working with another Scout Group and said exactly the same thing to me a couple of weeks ago.

The first time he said this to me I didn't really know what he was talking about or the true meaning of what he was saying, but the second time he told me I knew exactly what he means. I have been a Scout since and will always be a Scout.
Scouting has helped me through some bad times and has enabled me to meet many new freinds such as you good people on Scouting for peace and others all over the world. This means a lot to me and the law's and promise are very relivent to my everyday life.

So I can definately say I AM PROUD TO BE A SCOUT :-)
