Comment by Jose Luis Hernandez on April 8, 2011 at 6:47am I agree and I keep work to engage S4P members and WOSM to work and do actions that help people world wide ... I know this is our mission statement...
Comment by U. Savas Baran on April 7, 2011 at 7:39pm We have many scouts on this S4P who may be interested to make World Scout Award. This award is well documented on www.scout.org.
Some countries have their top level award to scouts who are about to leave or inactivate it due to heavy university load and some about to seach out a job or have a job with hard working hours. So this must be remembered and scouts use this opportunities before having the challenges mentioned above. I really don't know quantitatively how many countries heve their own awards how man using the World Scout award. End how many countries where a high level award like Scout of the World Award. I think that some e-seminars may be arranges toward She scout of the world award not for the gettig award but kmpwing it deeply and encaurage them t apply in their countries. In case of a country don't have an award they must try to convnince their associaton to give them this opportunity. It is the best opportunity to learn by doing on issues of Peace. Development and Peace. This group then may fulfill its mission statement easily . This work needs time to spare and the young men must organize their time to make this work withour jeoperdising their future professionel life
