Fundrasing: The Challenge.

One of the purposes, of this group is to brainstorm ideas for fundrasing. No matter what it is, or how silly an idea could sound, we want to here it and have in here for sharing the idea.
I know because I have spoken with missionaries who have to raise funds, that the World Banks, give out a certain amount of money to organizations in order to give to certain charities that operate for certain purposes. What I would like to begin with us doing in our spare time, is to try through the internet to locate some of these orgaizations or charities. What they means is doing a bit of homework on there constitution or what they stand for. For example if they stand for abused women, or children, it is very unlikely they will want to give us anything. But if they stand for world peace, or eduation of young people or global warming they may have interest. Below is a copy of the letter, written by me and okayed by Tarek and Angela. This is to give you an idea of what we will be sending them. However, we do not want it handed out just simply ramdomly to anyone. I would like you, once finding one that might accept it and give money to go to Tarek, or Angela or myself, or all three of us, and say, this one here is a possiblilty please look into it. Problems with sending an income tax receipt will be handled by Tarek, however I also understand the problems that one country cannot do this with another but this again should allow us to brainstorm and see what we can come up with. The idea as well here is to work as a team, a unit, with the purpose of the best future for scouting4peace. John Payne
