Peace Concert
On Friday the 1st October we held our scouting4peace peace concert in our inspeak voice room, many members were able to join us and i say a big thankyou to you all.
It was certainly and evening to remember and as always the entertainment didnt let us down with healthy discussions about peace and songs played, stories read , poems also,there was a real wealth of talent and some people found out they could sing quite well, John , Ulrik !!!!!!!
Leader Tarek Y Aziz who was on fine form and posed the question to those present ,''What does peace mean to you?
Many different thoughts were put forward all slightly different but they made you think about peace in our world.
Countries that came were, Poland, Egypt,Libya, Canada, USA, Denmark.Palestine,Algeria, Germany and UK.
I will do another post to give you some idea of the things that people did for the concert.
Thankyou once again to all who came .
So i pose the question once more 'What does peace mean to you?
