we all know how much we love our scout movement. We all receive or still receiving many gifts from it and it is really good for our own self and for the future of the whole society. I just want you to share with us how does scouting affect the life of your place, your society and how do people in your neigborhood consider Scouting? Are they seeying it as good for the life of the society or as a simple adventure of life? Which impact has scouting in your place? Your contribution can help many others... All the best.

In our school before scouting had been a great honour in school...
If you are a scout in school you are respected...
Scouting in our school before was because of the influence of our late scout master who in his whole life was devoted to scouting....
But now he's gone scouting in the eyes of students have changed...

I feel that our school needs to wake up scouting so that it can help the school and the community as it did before.. Our late scoutmaster was considered one of the greatest leaders in scouting.. I hope that our school will give notice to that for scouting will be a big loss in the school, community and society...
Thanks Jason... Thanks to God for the effect your former scoutmaster left in you and you still have yourself to be inspired by his way of living and it can be great help if you want to revive the honor of scouting in your place. Try to find what was good in him and you can apply it to yourself, in your manner, for the godness of scouting.

All the best
In my village it is little similar. We had a great scoutmasters before, and scouting seemd as very attractive movement for all kids, youth and all the people. But long time ago our village had lost great scouts, and the leader. And later there wasn't as good scouts as before. So the image of scouting had changed.
But now, we do our the best efforts and I can see that scouting becomes more popular, only we need to show real scouting to other people. Last time my group has grown and we have more kids, who wants to become scouts. So I'm looking in the future with optymism and I will do my best, as long as I will be a leader, to make them the best scouts, to show to the all community, that scouts have a power to change the environment, world, for the better.

Consider it nice to get their works done by the young people but does recognised the sincerity of the Movement
OK Gary, I wish you to continue in that way...
Well, here in the Philippines, Scouting is widely spread. Anywhere in the country has a scout and it is more in the public schools. We do some community services like helping to build a house for the poor, make assistance during local and national celebrations and even some of the trained scouts are voluntary sent themselves to help the 911 rescue team and to the Red Cross as well. When people see you in uniform, specially in our school, they can't resist their eyes to spare a glimpse and wondering on how to join the organization because, they felt so envy every time they see us in full set of scouts, performing fancy drills and first aid exercises.
Scouts also are the responsible and tasked to raised the Philippine National Flag in most of the schools here during the Flag Raising Ceremony. It is done together with the Girl Scouts of the Philippines. Scouts are given some privileges and special traits when entering the airport and given special passage.
Parents encourage their child to join the movement since they see in their neighbors that theirs are responsible and independent enough to do the everyday task. The child since he joined the movement, they noticed that it is less dependent and crying no more..heheehe

YIS,
Arvin
Well Arvin...
I know that for having been there. Scouting in the Philippines is really a strong and very organized body. It's already good if scouting can attract many others through your way of living in your society. Good sign and go ahead.

My regards to you friend

Scouting is looked more favourably in Malta

One must understand that the people see scouiting according to how one exhibits it himself.

If you are good, kind, happy, well behaved, courteous, then this is how people will see scouting.

I am sure that the fact that the movement has lasted 100 plus is a sign of past and present favourable times.

It is also the Scout law and promise that helps to show others what you and the movement are all about.

Best Regards from Malta
David
Thanks for that Leader David.

I am happy to hear that and let's do our best to improve life in our places.

Peace be with you

Kind regards

Friend
